A dream, a long time in coming, came true in November 2009, with the establishment of the Ross County Chapter of the Ohio Horseman's Council. This chapter is made up of equestrian enthusiasts from all venues. Some have been riding together for many years and have formed a bond stronger than some families. Others are new to our group, but we have one common thread...our love for horses.
Our chapter is not limited to residents of Ross County. We have members from several different counties. We welcome all counties to join us or just come for a visit. Our goal for this chapter, is to work within the community, both at the county and state level, to help keep open our bridle trails and campsites that we all use. We strive to keep informed on the issues that affect us as horse owners. We are excited to have a place where new and old friends can meet to share their knowledge , ride together and work together. |
